The manufacturing of doors can be made using a prepainted steel ensuring the final colour. This is the most simple and cost effective way. For this application we have developped a specific coating, Granite® Tex, which is made of a paint with a improved surface resistance. Another option, especially adapted for small series, is to use a steel protected by a primer coating suitable for painting operation. Then door manufacturer can apply directly the top layer with the final colour, without any pre-treatment.
